I'm not going to lie, I've parked behind a rack and glared at someone curling until they left. I didn't even feel that bad about it.

Not long ago I stepped in and asked old boy to kindly curl eslewhere

I actually dont care if someone curls in the squat rack  -just as long as its not during busy hours.

I see dudes curling ALL THE TIME in the rack....

It's like the people that want to do chin ups or pulls ups in the gym's only power rack. On the one hand, I get it, it's convenient. On the other hand, there are literally 11 other places you could be doing that, and this is the only place I can squat. Go away.

I once asked a young guy at the Y to vacate the only rack because he was doing BB rows. I showed him how you don't need a rack to row. My husband was embarrassed.

What doesn't kill you, doesn't kill you.

Now that the wannabe powerlifter has become the new standard gym bro, does this mean that curling in the squat rack is now the new hardcore elite thing to do?

I heard Chris Jones make the comment long ago that you gotta "keep the show moving" even if other people take your equipment and I've found that to be the best.
