YES! IN FLAMES!

I know people like to shit on their later stuff (classic band that should have cut it before they started producing meh music) but everyone forgets that their 90s shit was ridiculously good!

I liked them up to about 2006, then their shit started to get whack. 2014 Don't even get me started. Anders was literally singing.

I am be dangerous now.

The progressive pussification of a metal band under the pre-text of "oh they are just experimenting and pushing the envelope" while in reality wanting to be all mainstream commerce and cash-out?

Yup, the examples are countless...

Lol, In Flames barely qualifies as metal. I mean I'll still listen to them, but they are pretty accessible.

Friend of mine was describing his ideal mate... said he hated to admit it but he was attracted to hipsters a little bit. Clearly I'm the furthest thing from hipster, right? But music came up and he asked "what's your favorite band?" The answer is Anaal Nathrakh, but then I said "They're pretty niche, you've probably never heard of them."

:o

Evidence points to hipster. :@

I was rocking a funk playlist this morning. Usually do Foo Fighters, RATM, NIN, with some glam rock thrown in for fun.

ALL SYNTHWAVE, ALL THE TIME

It's 2016, if you're not listening to synthwave while you hit sets of 20 on concentration curls, I literally don't recognize your existence
