With the heaviest dumbbell ever used in competition, and a possible deadlift over 1300 Lb, this years Arnold Strongman Classic is possibly one of the best.
This years Arnold Strongman Classic is dedicated to strongman Mike Jenkins, the 2010 Arnold Amateur Strongman Champion, and the 2012 Arnold Strongman Champion.

Event 1 – Austrian Oak
6 athletes completed repetitions with the 440lb Australian Oak, while the remaining 4 athletes opted for the smaller 380lb log. Krzysztof Radzikowski was injured while attempting the 440lb log. He ruptured his right tricep in the overhead portion of the lift.

- Zydrunas wins the yoke at 1400 Lb and walked the 10′ course in 3.7 seconds

Event 5 – Cyr Dumbbell 274 Lb
Zydrunas, Burke, Shaw and Thor all got 4 reps.
Brian Shaw was given accidentally… a fifth rep, but was ruled that he only completed 4. Had he been given that rep, he would have made up the 2 point deficit going into the final event and won the overall. The other 3 would have had to split the points thus giving Zydrunas too few points to hold his lead.
